Identified, left to right: NX35564 Corporal (Cpl) Victor Thomas (Vic) Grintell, of West Wyalong, NSW; NX16688 Private (Pte) Leslie Edward Bell, of Queanbeyan, NSW, who was killed in action on 26 September 1943 in New Guinea aged 24 years old; and NX46654 Corporal (Cpl) Colin McPhail, of Tweed River, NSW, who was killed in action on 25 September 1943 in New Guinea aged 25 years old.
