Description
Graves of 405208 (Sergeant) Sgt Allen Holland, 405360 Sgt Lewis Kershaw McMichael and 405194 Sgt Ronald David Smith, all of Brisbane, Qld and all served with 460 Squadron, RAAF. They were three members of the five man crew of a Wellington aircraft which took off from RAF Breighton on 12 August 1942, the aircraft was not heard from after take off and did not return to base. The aircraft crashed in the early hours of 13 August 1942 at Eisden, Belgium, and all crew were killed. They are buried at Herverlee War Cemetery, Louvain, Belgium.
