Informal portrait of Warrant Officer Class 2 Gary Hunter (left), Major Pat Cullinan (centre) and a Canadian doctor (right), all members of the Commonwealth Military Training Team - Uganda, standing next to a sign on the Equator, as they are returning from Nairobi, Kenya. The CMTTU was a 36 man team, from seven Commonwealth countries, and its role was to train and discipline the Uganda National Liberation Army, formed after the overthrow of Idi Amin. The participating countries were Canada, Australia, United Kingdom, Jamaica, Sierra Leone, Guyana and Tanzania.
