Four members of the first Australian contingent to the Commonwealth Military Training Team - Uganda (CMTTU) wave to the camera prior to boarding an aircraft at Entebbe airport that will take them home to Australia. Identified, left to right: Sergeant (Sgt) Mick Caughey, 6th Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (6RAR), Warrant Officer Class 2 Peter Stammers, 6RAR, Major Tony Casey, 6RAR, Sgt Peter Orth, 8/9th Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment. The CMTTU was a 36 man team, from seven Commonwealth countries, and its role was to train and discipline the Uganda National Liberation Army, formed after the overthrow of Idi Amin. The participating countries were Canada, Australia, United Kingdom, Jamaica, Sierra Leone, Guyana and Tanzania.
