Informal group portrait of United Kingdom (UK) meteorologists from Porton Down Chemical Defence Board, now part of the Meteorology Section of the 1st Field Trials Company, standing in the barracks area of the Proserpine Chemical Warfare Station (CWS). Idenitfied, left to right: Stanley Crawford; Frank Pasquill (Head of the Section); Stanley Mason. The Proserpine CWS was set up to mainly test British chemical warfare weapons. It was abandoned at the end of the war.
