The soldiers lines, amongst the rubber trees at A Section, 1st Topographical Survey troop which consisted of four tents accommodating 38612 Corporal (Cpl) Paul Thomas Alderson; 3791485 Cpl Mario Apfelbaum; 38607 Cpl Peter John Dew; 43473 Cpl Michael Raymond Rice; 37378 Cpl Alfred John Rolfe; 54659 Cpl Stephen Wood; 18425 Lance Corporal Dexter Garry Camps; 38502 Sapper (Spr) William Neil Black; 216968 Spr John Malcolm Hunter; 1200694 Spr Raymond Alexander Lawson; 216475 Spr Trevor John Marsh; 4718897 Spr Peter Sidwells Smith; 5715361 Spr Michael Sokil; 1200805 Spr Bruce John Wetzig and 61656 Private Dallas Colin Leary. The pathways were made with gravel and edged with wooden strips and the low sandbagged walls provide some protection from blast damage in case of an enemy mortar attack. Some banana trees have also been planted.
