216968 Sapper (Spr) John Malcolm Hunter, a surveyor with A Section, 1st Topographical Survey Troop, supervising a young girl holding a baby as she looks through a theodolite which has been lowered specially for the children. The children are from the village of Ap Suoi Nghe, known as the hamlet of sweet water, (visible in the background) just north of Nui Dat.
