Marine Regiment, United States Marine Corps, take time out from patrolling villages in search of weapons and suspected Taliban fighters, to play volleyball with Afghan staff members at the United Nations compound. The USMC is serving in Afghanistan as part of Operation Enduring Freedom, the military response to the 11 September 2001 terrorist attacks on the United States.
