Description
Members of a United States force, Legion Company, 1st Battalion, 508th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 173rd Airborne Brigade, and Afghan forces, search for suspected Taliban fighters in a refugee camp near Kandahar. Some refugees are seated on a carpet inside a tent. The 173rd Airborne Brigade was deployed to Afghanistan in February 2005 in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, the military response to the 11 September 2001 terrorist attacks on the United States.
