Marine Regiment, United States Marine Corps (USMC), climb into the steep hills near Asadabad during a patrol to search for weapons and suspected Taliban fighters. The USMC is serving in Afghanistan as part of Operation Enduring Freedom, the military response to the 11 September 2001 terrorist attacks on the United States.
