Studio portrait of 3736 Private (Pte) Arthur Dickman, 4th Battalion, of Sydney, NSW. A brushmaker prior to enlisting in Paddington, NSW, on 15 August 1915, Pte Dickman embarked from Sydney, NSW, aboard HMAT Medic on 30 December 1915. He was killed in action on 27 January 1918, aged 23. His brother, 5362 Pte John Dickman died of wounds on 14 March 1917, aged 19.
