Studio portrait of 3831 Private (Pte) Leslie Gordon Peck, 15th Battalion, of Mount Waverley, Vic. A labourer prior to enlisting on 21 September 1915, Pte Peck embarked from Sydney, NSW, aboard HMAT Suffolk on 30 November 1915. He was killed in action at Bullecourt, France, on 9 August 1916, aged 30.
