Studio portrait of 3293 Private (Pte) Ernest Bennet Faulkner, 15th Battalion, of Brisbane, Qld. A clerk prior to enlisting on 27 July 1915, Pte Faulkner embarked from Brisbane, Qld, aboard HMAT Seang Bee on 21 October 1915. He was killed in action at Pozieres, France, on 9 August 1916, aged 20.
