Description
Soldiers of 3 Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (3RAR), assaulted and captured this typical enemy bunker during Operation Overlord. Made of timber and earth, the bunker was part of a large and well-designed system that had previously been occupied by elements of 3 Battalion, 33 North Vietnamese Army (NVA) Regiment.
