The damaged exterior of the former Ba'ath Party Headquarters building in the Green Zone. The green zone is a heavily guarded area in central Baghdad and its borders are marked by razor wire, chain link fences and reinforced and blast proof concrete slabs, as well as many check points. A number of Iraqi government officials, as well as civilians work and live within the Green Zone.
