Framed portrait of 21956 Leading Stoker Thomas Nevin 'Rocky' Glackin, of Mount Morgan, Qld, who enlisted with the Royal Australian Navy on 11 April 1938. He died at sea on 20 November 1941 aboard HMAS Sydney aged 21 years. The Sydney was sunk at sea during a battle with the German cruiser Kormoran off Carnarvon, WA. All 645 personnel on board HMAS Sydney were lost.
