A carton of condemned ammunition leaves the tail of a RAAF No 35 Squadron Caribou aircraft and explodes on impact with the water. The squadron was taking part in the destruction of the ammunition which was dropped into the ocean 35 miles off the coast from the village of Nha Trang.
