Informal portrait of five men sitting around a table at C Block Dormitory at Flinders Naval Depot. The men are, from left to right: 23696 Signaller Harold Leslie John Dyball, of Annandale, NSW; 23889 Ordinary Telegraphist Russell Bertram Windham, of Bute, SA, who was also killed aboard HMAS Sydney in 1941 (second from left standing); 23683 Telegraphist Arthur Christopher Douglas, HMAS Napier ( according to his service record but HMAS Cessnock on Roll of Honour ) who died on 29 March 1943 and was buried at sea in the Persian Gulf (seated); Ordinary Telegraphist Stewart and 23940 Ordinary Telegraphist Henry Max Pieremont, of Moss Vale, NSW.
