Description
A number of desert graves covered in white rocks. Most of the graves are simply marked with a number, however, the grave in the foreground is of SX10269 Lieutenant (Lt) John Joseph Wilson, 13 Platoon, C Company, of Parkside, SA. He enlisted in Wayville, SA, on 19 September 1940 and was killed in action in Egypt, on 15 July 1942, aged 27 years.
