Description
The Corpse of Benito Mussolini, his mistress, Clara Petacci and other senior Italian Fascists, who were captured, by Communist Partisans whilst attempting to flee Italy. Mussolini and his group were executed (shot) on 29 April 1945. The bodies were later beaten and hung upside down from a scaffold at a service station in the Piazzale Loreto, Milan, for public display. This image was originally part of a series of post cards.
