Description
This collection consists of 26 x .303 projectiles, 31 x shrapnel balls, three Turkish cartridges, two pieces of shrapnel, eight pieces of projectiles, five scraps of wood - one being charred, one Turkish pinfire cartridge and one Turkish projectile.
History / Summary
These projectiles and pieces of shrapnel were collected by Official Historian CEW Bean at Quinn's Post on 24 February 1919. These items were collected from an area one square yard (about 90 centimetres) in size.
