Studio portrait of 2303 Private Elbert Louis Von Bibra, 47th Battalion, of Launceston, Tas. He enlisted on 20 May 1915, was promoted to lance corporal in June 1916, corporal in March 1917 and sergeant on 14 July 1917. He was killed in action in Belgium on 30 September 1917 aged 28 years.
