Identified, left to right, back row: 1105 Trooper (Tpr) Frederick Gustave Newman; 1082 Tpr Richard Dangar Bond; 1105 Tpr Francis August Newman; 1068 Trp Stanley James Cross; 1115 Tpr Charles Reeves. Front row: 1117 Tpr Alexander Smail; 1109 Tpr Bartholomew George Pearson; 1101 Tpr Vivian Roy Morrow, (who was killed in action on 4 August 1916 in Egypt), sitting with crossed legs; 1097 Tpr William Gordon Lincoln, and 1087 Tpr Robert Wilkinson Crawshaw.
