The ship's guard at a ceremony of the changing of the white ensign of the RAN at Captain Cook Drydock, Garden Island. The RAN had flown the Royal Navy white ensign prior to this. The officer of the guard is Stephen Yuille (front foreground). Also identified are: 57523 LS QMG John Richard (Jack) Aaron (extreme left), and Leading Seaman Ian Smith (right foreground).
