Description
An Armoured Personnel Carrier (APC) carrying members of D Company, 6RAR/NZ (ANZAC) Battalion (comprising the 6th Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment and a component of the 1st Battalion, the Royal New Zealand Infantry Regiment), and military trucks carrying soldiers from 3/52 Battalion of 18 Division of the Army of the Republic of Vietnam (ARVN) stop beside a dusty road on their way to a point where they will commence a foot patrol. Under the new policy of pacification, the patrol will form part of the training of the South Vietnamese troops, as the diggers try to impart correct and safe infantry tactics to them.
