M113 armoured cavalry vehicle of the 7th Armoured Cavalry Squadron, a unit of the Army of the Republic of Vietnam (ARVN) which operated around the city of Hue in the northern part of South Vietnam. Identified riding atop the vehicle are an American adviser, Captain Jack Mountcastle (left) and 25761 Warrant Officer Class 2 (WO2) Lester Noel Bootes, Australian Army Training Team Vietnam (AATTV) (fourth from left), of Villawood, NSW.
