Description
US Secretary of State, William P. Rogers (centre), is introduced to O5787 Air Commodore (Air Cdre) Frederick Stephen (Fred) Robey (right), Deputy Commander of the Australian Force Vietnam (AFV), at the Headquarters of the Free World Military Assistance Forces. Air Cdre Robey is standing in a line of South Vietnamese and other senior allied officers who are meeting Secretary Rogers. At rear, in the middle of the line, is 237 Major General Robert Arthur Hay, Commander of the Australian Force Vietnam (COMAFV). At left is a senior American officer named Revis (?) who appears to be introducing the assembled officers to the Secretary of State.
