Description
Australian soldiers prepare to load stretcher casualties onto a US Army medical evacuation (dust-off) helicopter. The men were wounded when the M113A1 Armoured Personnel Carrier (APC) in which they were riding ran over and detonated a large enemy anti-tank mine. The APC, whose call sign was one three alpha (13A) and ARN 134305, was from B Squadron, 3 Cavalry Regiment. The incident occurred on the first day of Operation Massey Harris.
