Description
An Iroquois helicopter with call sign 376 from No. 9 Squadron RAAF delivers 44-gallon drums of fuel to Night Defensive Position (NDP) Beverley about 30 kilometres east of the 1st Australian Task Force (1ATF) at Nui Dat. The chopper is carrying the barrels in a heavy underslung cargo net. The fuel is to be used by engineers from 1 Field Squadron RAE to set fire to enemy rice padis and vegetable gardens as part of Operation Massey Harris, a food-denial operation.
