Two medical orderlies carry a wounded and emaciated Viet Cong soldier on a stretcher into the Emergency Ward of 8 Field Ambulance. The man, who has just arrived on a dust-off helicopter, was one of fourteen patients of the enemy's K76A Hospital who were captured when 6RAR/NZ discovered the medical facility in the Nui May Tao hills during Operation Marsden. His lower left leg has been amputated and may be gangrenous.
