Description
During Phase 2 of Operation Bondi I, the CO of 5RAR, 235030 Lieutenant Colonel Colin Nicholas Kahn, chats to some children from the hamlet of Duc My, as another member of the battalion looks on (right). Soldiers from the battalion have been giving the children cool drinks while their parents have their identities checked by members of 1st Division Intelligence Unit. Following a cordon and search of the hamlet by 5RAR, the whole populace of Duc My has been moved, most of them on foot, to a screening area for the checks between Binh Ba and Duc Trung.
