Description

A propaganda leaflet produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office (FELO) during the Second World War. This leaflet is written in Japanese and was distributed to Melanesia and the Netherlands East Indies. An English translation of the text is attached. The main text reports that the Allied Forces have successfully protected the lines of supply from the German U-boats due to the improved convoy system, the destruction of the German war industries by continuous bombing, and the introduction of more efficient sound detectors. The leaflet carries three photos depicting an attack on a U-boat by the British Navy.
