Ikusa wa korekara [Tokio says, "The War has not yet begun."]
A propaganda leaflet produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office (FELO) during the Second World War. This leaflet is written in Japanese and was distributed to Melanesia, the Netherlands East Indies and Japan-Formosa. An English translation of the text is attached. This item is a small Japanese-language propaganda leaflet produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office during the Pacific War. The message on the leaflet argues that General Tojo repeatedly warns that the war has not yet begun and Japanese people have to expect greater hardships simply because he is thoroughly aware of the supremacy of the Allied Forces in both air and the sea. The leaflet has a small chart which highlights the superior aircraft and battleship production capacity of the Americans. The message concludes with the statement: "The final defeat of Japan is inevitable".
