Nihongun heishi shokun ni tsugu [To soldiers of the Japanese Army].
Description
A propaganda leaflet produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office (FELO) during the Second World War. This leaflet is written in Japanese and was distributed to Giruwa and Sanananda. An English translation of the text is attached. The leaflet reports that a number of senior Japanese officers fled in motor boats during the "defence to the death" of Giruwa and Sanananda, leaving their men to perish without them. Japanese men are warned of the likelihood that their commanders will desert them and flee.
