Keisei gyakuten su [Another disaster. Do you know the truth?]
Description
A propaganda leaflet produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office (FELO) during the Second World War. This leaflet is written in Japanese and was distributed to Solomon Islands and Milne Bay. An English translation of the text is attached. The leaflet reports the disastrous defeats of the Japanese Navy in the Battle of the Coral Sea and the Battle of Midway. It also mentions that the Solomon Islands have been recaptured by the Americans and the Japanese attempt to invade Milne Bay ended in a disaster. The message blames the military faction of Japan and encourages Japanese soldiers to cut themselves from the faction.
