Description

A propaganda leaflet produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office (FELO) during the Second World War. This leaflet is written in Japanese and was distributed to Melanesia and Netherlands East Indies. An English translation of the text is attached. The message compares the resignation of Mussolini and the imminent downfall of Hitler and Tojo to falling leaves from a paulonia tree. It also mentions the capture of 290,000 POWs in North Africa alone and the landing of the Allies on Sicily.
