Tami o shite tatakawashimuru wa ikari nari [Wrath spurs them on].
Description
A propaganda leaflet produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office (FELO) during the Second World War. This leaflet is written in Japanese and was distributed to Melanesia and the Netherlands East Indies. It is accompanied by an English translation of the text. The leaflet concerns the contributions of minor Allied nations, including the Netherlands, Norway, France, Greece, Poland, Belgium and Yugoslavia. It states that the navies of these small countries are participating in the Allied operations for freedom's sake and their cooperation symbolises the determination of oppressed people to regain liberty and decency. The Japanese are warned that the navies of these minor Allied countries can be formidable, because they are fighting for freedom by their own convictions, rather than forced into the war by any military clique.
