Description

A propaganda leaflet produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office (FELO) during the Second World War. This leaflet is written in Japanese and was distributed to Korea, Japan-Formosa and Melanesia. It is accompanied by an English translation of the text and is dated 7 December 1943. The leaflet states that people in Formosa and Korea have been oppressed and discriminated against by the Japanese and that their suffering in the jungles in the Pacific from bombings and diseases stems from the aggression of Japan. The message promises peoples from Formosa and Korea that if they surrender to the Allied Forces, they will be treated properly.
