Description
A propaganda leaflet produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office (FELO) during the Second World War. This leaflet is written in Japanese and was distributed to Melanesia. The leaflet is accompanied by an English translation of the text. The message encourages the Japanese commanders to accept defeat and urges them to surrender to avoid losing any more precious lives. The message states that the Allies are prepared to negotiate a conditional surrender which the Japanese can honourably accept.
