Presentation album to Colonel Alfred Sutton
Description
Outdoor portrait of Llieutenant Colonel (Lt Col) Alfred Sutton with a young boy in a sailor suit standing at the entrance to an Eight Person Indian Production (EPIP) tent in camp. Lt Col Sutton, a medical practitioner of Brisbane, Qld, commanded the 3rd Field Ambulance, embarking from Brisbane on the troopship Rangatira on 25 September 1914. He was aged 51 at the time of his enlistment.
