Souvenir ring from Palestine, 1916-1918
Description
Seven fine white metal rings linked together by a piece of rose gold. The gold has a scalloped edge and is engraved on the front with the word 'Souvenir'. Four of the rings are plain, the other three have a twisted design. Each ring has solder marks where the ends have been joined.
History / Summary
Souvenir ring purchased in Palestine. Possibly of Jewish origin and sent home to Australia by a light horseman.
