During the early period of the Nui Dat base-camp, the main road between Baria and Vung Tau was routed through the western side of Nui Dat and it was part of our duties to patrol and to search all the vehicles (buses/carts) that came through this road. The picture shows Bryan O'Donnell searching a bullock-drawn cart.

A bullock-drawn cart on the road between Baria and Vung Tau gets stopped by 4717548 Private Bryan O'Donnell, 11 Platoon, D Company, 5th Battalion, Royal Australian Regiment (5RAR) as part of securing the area around Nui Dat during the establishment of the 1st Australian Task Force (1ATF).
