Kôgun shôhei ni tsugu [To officers and men of the Japanese Imperial Army].
Description
A propaganda leaflet produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office (FELO) during the Second World War. This leaflet is written in Japanese and was distributed to the Solomon Islands. The leaflet is accompanied by an English translation of the text. The message on the leaflet urges Japanese soldiers to surrender rather than to continue killing for the sake of killing. It mentions that over a thousand Japanese officers and men have already surrendered and are preparing themselves at prisoner-of-war camps for the restoration of Japan.
