Nihongun shôhei shokun ni tsugu [To officers and men of the Japanese Army].
Description
A propaganda leaflet produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office (FELO) during the Second World War. This leaflet is written in Japanese and was distributed to New Guinea and Buna. The leaflet is accompanied by an English translation of the text. The message states that the New Guinea campaign has resulted in a total failure due to the blunders of the Japanese General Staff, and soldiers in New Guinea have been abandoned. It urges Japanese soldiers to surrender with this leaflet in hand.
