Shimensoka (sensen tsûka sashô) [Forsaken by everyone (surrender pass)].
Description
A propaganda leaflet produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office (FELO) during the Second World War. This leaflet is written in Japanese and was distributed to Melanesia and the Netherlands East Indies. The leaflet is accompanied by an English translation of the text. The message on the leaflet urges Japanese soldiers to consider serving the post-war Japan rather than dying in a useless war. Japanese soldiers wishing to surrender are advised to present a copy of the leaflet to a member of the Allied Army.
