Tôkô o unagasu shihen [Surrender leaflet].
Description
A propaganda leaflet produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office (FELO) during the Second World War. This leaflet is written in Japanese and was distributed to Melanesia. The leaflet is accompanied by an English translation of the text.The message on the leaflet assures that surrendered Japanese soldiers will be treated in accordance with the Geneva Convention. It stresses that it is silly to die in vain as man cannot conquer fate.
