Kôgun shôhei shokun [To the Japanese troops].
Description
A propaganda leaflet produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office (FELO) during the Second World War. This leaflet is written in Japanese and was distributed to Melanesia and the Netherlands East Indies. The leaflet is accompanied by an English translation of the text. The message on the leaflet states that the Japanese military leaders made strategic blunders inviting defeat, though their duty should be to enable their troops to gain victory. It urges Japanese soldiers to live and serve Japan after the war rather than die in vain.
