Description
A propaganda newspaper produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office (FELO) during the Second World War. The item is written in Japanese and was distributed to Bismarck Archipalego, Guadalcanal and Burma. An English translation of the text is attached. This leaflet discusses the special amendment bill aimed at imposing strict penalties against criticism of government policy, the loss in the battle of the Bismarck Sea, the situation of the war between Russia and Germany, the loss of merchant ships in Burma as well as the souring relationship between Germany and Japan.
