Description
German Hitler Youth Shooting Proficiency enamel and alloy badge, early version, with Hitler Youth symbol in black, white and red, above a pair of crossed rifles, sitting over a black and silver target. The reverse features cast maker's marks in the form of a raised RZM and M1/77, and is fitted with a simple sprung pin brooch.
History / Summary
Not known. This is the early version of the Hitler Youth badge, issued from circa 1936. This example would have been awarded for a second place in a shooting competition.
