Description
A pictorial propaganda leaflet produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office (FELO) during the Second World War and distributed to Melanesia and the Netherlands East Indies. The leaflet includes five pictures accompanied by captions in Japanese. These pictures depict the beginning of the re-capture of Dutch New Guinea, Allied men and equipment immediately before the landing, preparations of meals before fighting, the air-raids before the landing on 22 April and some of the 288 Japanese aircraft destroyed by the air raids.
